woodworking plans valet stand

i've got driver bits and drill bit scatteredeverywhere in my shop. i've got more over here, ohhh, i've been looking for those. good bye. i have a piece of quarter inch ply that ihave cut to size by measuring the inside deminsions of the cabinet i want to mount mymagnetic storage rack in. i'll lay everything out just to get a roughidea of where i want everything. test these magnets... nice! and the rows of magnets should do nicely right around these areas.

take a trip over to my extremely well organizedscrap bin. (clears throat) yeah i gotta fix that. rip that piece of scrap down to one inch strips on the table saw. tack, tack, tack staple boom next. i want to be able to use the peg board fromthe outside of the cabinet i'm mounting this in and these one inch strips along the back side will give me the space i need. now that that is done i'll adjust my fence and rip some strips about a half an inch thick. then i'll take them over to my thickness planerand plane them down to the same thickness

as the magnets i'm using. i'll just glue these in place and when itsdry trim the extra. this is how the magnets came packaged. i'll have a link on my website to where igot these. check the description. just fyi it hurts when these things snap together and your fingers just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. not that i did that. ok, i did do that. some hot glue should do the trick. all done, lets create some organization.
