the u.s. market is a big market it's the world's largest consumer economy, and it's still going to be so i guess for a number of years. we only have 38 stores here today. obviously, we need to come closer to our customers. we're at a point now where we're ready to expand again. so at the moment we're working on three projects. we have one in miami, that will open this summer. and that's under construction now. we're also under construction in kansas city. that will open in the early fall.

the next one after that in the fall of '15 will be st louis. so those three are actually moving, and we're also looking in other cities. so our plan is to go into another expansionary phase, and we're looking forward to that. it's very exciting. i think ikea's got a great model. i think they got a tremendous opportunity in north america to grow. and we can be part of that. i think in order for them to grow, they're gonna have to have domestic sourcing. fortunately, i think we're in a good position to be that partner long-term. well, the relationship between sauder and ikea has grown steadily over the years as business has grown. the thing is sauder has a really strong professional team. and it's delivering steady results for us. they're a very reliable supplier. so we're really happy with their performance.

and i think the key in it is that we really share a business model. they share our business model of low cost, high volume, triggering better product at lower cost. and also to have a rational production center, meaning low prices, and constantly working to improve the production setup. it's about the prices. it's about the quality. it's about the ability to create and produce the products according to our specifications. that's in the heart and dna of ikea. and that's sustainability. so not wasting resources not transporting goods longer than you have to, not using more material than you have to.

i would say our desire to continually improve bonds us pretty well, and it's for the benefit of the many. and when i say "many," it's not just the consumer, but it's all of us. sauder today, in many ways, it's a company with a history just as ikea, with a dynamic entrepreneur, and that has since the start of it, they have come a long way. so, it's really fascinating to be part of growing and developed our business together.
