i often saw the long panels across with use of band saw it's not easy to saw big panels they could fall also the friction between the panel and the table makes it difficult to saw i was thinking about a band saw sliding table for a long time i am going to use festool mft sliding table i have to make another fastening i drilled two holes and will screw it to the band saw table this is a festool mft table with the mounting holes

the sliding table must be a little higher than the band saw table to prevent friction that's all there is also an adjustable fence its length is enough for my band saw table you can adjust the angle of cutting i have to check 90 degree angle position it is almost 90 degree, maybe a half a degree smaller this is not very important when sawing the panels the saw blade is on the left, not on right as on the table saw

i have to get used to it usually band saw don't have a sliding table because this is not necessary for the most band saw operations this is only my personal need to saw long panels across i asked the felder representatives about this they said: "if you do this it will be the first band saw with the sliding table in the world." :)
